Mark M. Moasser, M.D.

Mark M. Moasser, MD is Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco where he treats patients with breast cancer, conducts clinical trials of novel therapies and directs a translational laboratory research program focusing on key signaling pathways that drive the development of breast cancers and are promising targets for drug development. He is a member of the Breast Oncology Program of the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCSF and member of the Biomedical Sciences Program of the UCSF Graduate Division. Dr. Moasser completed his premedical and medical trainings at the University of Pennsylvania, Tufts, and Cornell, followed by a fellowship in Medical Oncology and service on the Breast Cancer Medicine Service of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is an investigator of the National Institutes of Health, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the California Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation. He is the author of numerous scientific and clinical publications and his work is widely cited in the breast cancer field. He is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
